HBWN May Event

We are thrilled to present Cherie Johnson, the founder of Speaking in Colour, as our esteemed speaker for the evening. Speaking in Colour is a 100% Aboriginal owned business dedicated to educating, equipping and encouraging business and educators to understand and embrace Aboriginal culture.

Founded in 2010 by Cherie Johnson, Speaking in Colour aims to make a positive impact by providing fun, affordable, and culturally rich training and resources in the Hunter region and beyond.

Cherie Johnson is a Gamilaroi and Weilwun woman with a deep connection to her heritage and community. As an accomplished Aboriginal arts and education consultant, Cherie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table.

During the event, Cherie will share insights into her journey as an educator, artist, author, PhD candidate and entrepreneur. She will delve into her research on “the effects of urban Aboriginal Women coming to culture and its importance in the contemporary context,” shedding light on critical issues and inspiring us with her passion for positive social impact.

Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with fellow businesswomen, gain valuable insights, and be inspired by Cherie Johnson’s powerful story.

Reserve your spot today for an evening of learning, networking, and empowerment.
